The year 2005 saw the completion of four hermitages in Glencomeragh, three on the hillside and one lower down on the water’s edge. Each hermitage is centred around a sacred space, which invites you to connect with your inner self. This space is open to the elements, symbolizing the vulnerability at the centre of each human heart. At the same time the hermitages reach outward, to bring you closer to the wonders of beautiful natural surroundings.
